David Schober
David Schober | Manager, User Services
David is a Manager, User Services, and has been a part of the Division of Continuing Studies since 2008. He is a proud Rutgers alumnus (LC’07) with a passion for learning, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service. Certified in ITIL® Foundations, Quality Matters (QM) trained, and a VoiceThread Certified Educator, he strives to foster best practices in service management in order to achieve a welcoming environment to both engage and energize faculty and student success. He also brings his knowledge of web, graphic and multimedia design to on-demand training and documentation.

Matthew Batko
Matthew Batko | Help Desk Agent
Matt graduated from Rutgers in 2017 with a degree in Information Technology and Informatics. He joined the Teaching and Learning with Technology Help Desk in August 2018. He wants to help improve technology at Rutgers and someday wants to use technology help find solutions to problems people face both at Rutgers and around the world. In his free time, he likes to workout and play sports.

Gabriel De La Cruz
Gabe De La Cruz | User Support Services Specialist
Gabe graduated Rutgers in 2014 with a major in Sociology. He joined Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) in June 2016 and is currently providing support for students and instructors who use the learning systems and external technologies offered by TLT. Gabe’s previous experience as a Discrepancy Resolution Analyst at Telesoft working in collaboration with Bloomberg and has helped bring a new perspective to the team’s operations. Outside of TLT, he is an aspiring photographer, and also an avid car enthusiast. He likes to get his hands dirty, solving issues that come up and heading off upcoming ones before they start. He plays strategic computer games as well. Which lets him employ his problem solving skills in a much more relaxed and creative environment.

Mark Dookharan
Mark Dookharan | Help Desk Agent
Mark joined the Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) team as a Help Desk Agent in Spring of 2019. He graduated in 2017 from the Rutgers School of Engineering, and brings with him experience as a former Rutgers Office of Information Technology (OIT) employee. He loves facing difficult problems and looks forward to the moment of solution. He hopes to bring this joy to others who experience technology issues here at Rutgers. In his free time, Mark enjoys exploring new skills and crafts. He is an enthusiastic photographer, a sociable chef, and a persistent adventurer.

Elena Georgopoulos
Elena Georgopoulos | Help Desk Agent
Elena Georgopoulos is a Help Desk agent for Teaching and Learning with Technology and joined the team in 2018. She graduated from Rutgers in 2015, her major Comparative Literature and her minor Modern Greek. As a Unit Administrator, her main responsibility is to provide support to faculty and students via the Help Desk. She loves Rutgers and wants to be able to promote all it has to offer. In her spare time, Elena loves to read and write.

Maricris Guerrero
Maricris Guerrero | Help Desk Agent
Maricris Guerrero is a Help Desk Agent for Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT). She is also currently a student at Rutgers University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Sports Studies. She previously transferred over to the Division of Continuing Studies from the Office Instructional Research & Technology (OIRT) where her specialty was supporting Sakai. Upon arriving at TLT, she provided support in the migration effort of courses between the various Learning Management Systems (LMS). Maricris has used that experience to excel in her role in the help desk supporting all major LMS's. Outside TLT, she helps instruct the Rutgers Salsa Club as the beginner instructor as well as being part of the Rutgers Salsa Team which is a performance based team here at the University.

Eric Leupold
Eric Leupold | Help Desk Agent

Eric Leupold is a proud Rutgers graduate (BSLER’19) who has been committed to the support of Online Learning and educational technologies at Rutgers University, since 2003 when he started as an Online Course Design Consultant working closely with faculty using the Learning Studio (eCollege). In 2009, he joined the School of Management and Human Relations as an Online Course Coordinator to assist in the development of their online programs while providing dedicated training and support to faculty and students along with assisting in further course development. In 2012 Eric brought his expertise and experience to the Division of Continuing Studies Teaching and Learning with Technology’s (TLT) Online Learning Help Desk and was integral in expanding support services to our current 24/7/365 coverage. He currently works with faculty, staff and students supporting Canvas, Sakai and Moodle along with a focus on instructional technologies. His dedication to outstanding support and relational experience have proven instrumental in developing and maintaining our Online Learning Knowledge base documentation and support systems infrastructure.

Thomas Pile
Thomas Pile | Help Desk Agent

Tom joined the Teaching and Learning with Technology team in the summer of 2018 and is committed to providing top-quality support to every member of the Rutgers family who needs a hand with the Learning Management Systems (LMS). Tom is a graduate of the University of Houston with a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology. Prior to joining Rutgers, he worked in technology support for Houston Community College’s English department and the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Houston.

Miguel Romero
Miguel Romero | Help Desk Agent

Miguel provides support and training for several instructional technology applications. Joining Rutgers in November 2015, Miguel worked closely with Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) faculty/staff and University Hospital (UH) staff to select and pilot new technologies within Moodle and Moodle 1, while also providing end-user support. He joined the Division of Continuing Studies in April 2017, where his role expanded to include the Canvas, eCollege, and Sakai learning management systems. He is dedicated to fostering the success of faculty and students in their online courses and degree programs at Rutgers.
