Ruth Ronan is a Senior Instructional Designer in the Teaching and Learning with Technology team. She received her MEd in Instructional Design from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Prior to joining the Office of Instructional Design at Rutgers, she supported Higher Ed faculty in Boston and Worcester, MA, for eight years. Ruth has had a long career in professional development that began as a training manager in New York City’s corporate sector and continued in Massachusetts, supporting faculty in K12 schools with technology integration before finding her niche in Higher Ed. She has been involved in various curriculum development projects with a focus on curriculum alignment and outcomes-based assessment. She is committed to helping faculty apply best practices to achieve their pedagogical goals and values opportunities to facilitate faculty learning communities to promote the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
