Beheshteh Abdi is an Instructional Designer within Teaching & Learning with Technology (TLT). She has an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology from Shahid Beheshti University in Iran, an MS. ED in Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University (NIU), and is a doctoral candidate at NIU in Instructional Technology. Her area of specialty is focused on incorporating gamification techniques and Student Response Systems (SRS) to improve student engagement and learning performance in the classrooms.Her prior experience has been focused on teaching instructional technology courses at Northern Illinois University (NIU) for five years and has supported faculty to use technology tools in their online, hybrid and face-to-face classrooms.
