Justin Smith is the Multimedia Facilities Specialist and Manager for the Teaching and Learning with Technology’s New Media Center. He earned his M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University, B.A. in Communications from the University of Iowa, a diploma in Graphic Design and Animation from Chubb Institute as well as certificates from New York University in Film Production and 3dTi in 3d modeling and animation. Prior to TLT, Justin spent 5 years as the Senior Instructional Technologist for Berkeley College Online and 2 years before that contracting for the National Guard distance learning program. During his time at the National Guard he was part of a team of artists that won a Bronze Horizon award for the Combat Lifesavers online distance course. Justin also has many years of film, video, graphic design, and multimedia production under his belt. He specializes in merging high quality media production with instructional design best practices.
